Course

As a part of the course, you will be working with Dr Sunita Tandulwadkar for all the procedures, OPD patients and assisting the procedures, gathering data, publishing articles and papers.

Solo clinic training module in infertility will consist of procedures like:

  • Clinical ovarian stimulation and luteal phase • support protocol
  • Follicular monitoring
  • Individualised evaluation and management of all • infertile patients of different pathologies
  • Laboratory set up
  • Safety guidelines for the IVF laboratory
  • IVF laboratory equipment maintenance
  • Standard and good practices in the IVF laboratory
  • Quality management of IVF laboratory
  • Demonstration of preparation of media
  • Oocyte evaluation and scoring
  • Evaluation of fertilization and pronuclear pattern grading
  • Embryo selection for transfer and embryo grading
  • Loading catheter for embryo transfer (ET transfer)
  • Oocyte denudation
  • Cryopreservation of sperms, oocytes and embryos
  • Andrology
  • Hands on training in semen analysis under the • guidance of ESHRE certified embryologist
  • Sperm preparation for IVF/ICSI (density gradient, sperm wash, swim‐up)
  • TESA/PESA
  • Frozen sperm preparation for IUI/IVF/ICSI
  • Sperm DNA Fragmentation test

Training in Endoscopy, with a chance to witness and assist a number of cases (including 3D laparoscopy)

  • Diagnostic video laparohysteroscopy
  • Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy
  • Myomectomy
  • Endometrioma excision
  • Ectopic pregnancy
  • Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy

REQUISITE DOCUMENTS (COMPULSORY) FOR BOTH THE COURSES

  • M.B.B.S. certificate
  • Degree certificates (MD/ MS), diploma certificates
  • Proof of membership of the FOGSI for 2022 in case of ICOG
